Practice safe, effective intervention strategies to disrupt harm and support others
Disrupting violence and oppression starts with the courage to engage. In this training, participants will learn how to recognize potentially harmful situations, understand what holds them back from stepping in, and practice actionable strategies to safely and effectively intervene. Whether facing subtle microaggressions or overt acts of harm, active bystanders play a critical role in creating safer, more inclusive spaces. These skills are especially powerful when working with youth, helping young people not only understand their own responsibility in preventing harm but also empowering them to stand up for themselves and others when it matters most.
