This workshop addresses the evolving challenges of online safety for children in an era of rapid technological change. Participants will explore emerging trends in child exploitation, including the rise in blackmail targeting youth with explicit images and the concerning increase in associated suicides. The workshop covers the impact of peer-to-peer bullying that escalates into violence and examines the role of artificial intelligence in both contributing to and combating these issues. Participants will gain practical strategies to reduce stigma, foster open communication, and empower children to navigate the digital landscape safely.
