Grooming: Who Do We Trust Online?

In this lesson, students will learn about grooming offline and online. Students will discuss digital safety, seeking help, and learn how to recognize warning signs of a grooming situation. Through real-life scenarios, students will explore how to recognize grooming tactics and protect themselves and others. They will also develop strategies to promote a safer online and real-life community by raising awareness of digital risks and reinforcing help-seeking behavior.

how to prepare for this lesson

At the start of class, teachers should have the following prepared:

  1. Teacher should have groups of 3 or 4 predetermined to save time.
  2. Students should have journals out
