LESSON

A Blueprint for Belonging

60 min

This lesson is currently under review with Nest Educational Advisors. Please check back later for updates.

In this lesson, students will reflect on the consequences of losing significance, such as isolation, alienation, and polarization, through journal prompts, class discussions, direct instruction, and a collaborative group activity. They will revisit their "Belonging Blueprints" to add tools to address the challenges of losing significance. Afterward, students will identify issues related to unhealthy relationships and a loss of significance at school, then work in groups to develop creative solutions that foster a safer and more inclusive environment.
