LESSON

Five

From Attitudes to Actions

60 minutes

This lesson is currently under review with Nest Educational Advisors. Please check back later for updates.

In this lesson, students explore how biased attitudes and stereotypes materialize into discriminatory actions both systemically and in our communities and relationships. Through journal reflection, direct instruction using real-world data, and small group analysis of scenarios, students examine how biases escalate into increasingly harmful behaviors. Students identify intervention points and potential solutions while considering barriers to change, adding these insights to their ongoing work with the Violence Pyramid.
