how to prepare for this lesson

For the 3M activity, students will need to stand either by their desks or somewhere else in the classroom. There should be enough room for students to safely move their bodies.

Before the lesson, hang the Self-Care Strategies Printouts in the four corners of the room. Alternatively, you can use four pieces of paper labeled “Physical,” “Emotional,” “Social,” and “Spiritual” at the top.

Depending on how in depth the class discussions go, you may not have enough time to complete the Self-Care Roadmap Handout in class. This can be assigned a homework activity.

Please ensure to pre-check videos before class, as internet policies may vary among schools, to ensure accessibility.
